Slaughter Hurls Generals to Shutout Victory

Bill Slaughter of the Washington Generals put the clamps on the opposition and held the Pontiac Godfathers scoreless in a 1-hit whitewash.
"He's got some good stuff, but we should have done better than that," said Pontiac skipper Júlio Villegas after the 5-0 loss.
