SA Announces Best Player Award
Friday, September 26th, 2042
The manager of the Laredo Hawks said he thinks Woody Maxwell is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 22, but it will be hard to top the third baseman's 2042 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the USSL Single A Outstanding Hitter Award.
His winning campaign featured a .279 batting average and a .354 on-base percentage this year. In 96 games he piled up 106 hits, 24 doubles, 6 triples, 23 home runs, 78 RBIs and 56 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Eduardo Lucciardi of the Delaware 1787 BC finished second in voting, while Mhelter Tejano of the Delaware 1787 BC finished third.
