USSL Single A Chooses Best Manager Wednesday, September 24th, 2042 Manager Leonardo Sánchez was speaking before a Laredo fan luncheon when word came down that he'd been awarded the USSL Single A Manager of the Year. Sánchez's face turned to surprise as the club's owner made the hasty announcement. "Wow... how lucky can a guy be? Manage a great bunch of guys... have great fans... have a great season... and now this... life don't get any better than this." Laredo fans applauded, recognizing how fortunate they were to have Sánchez at the helm. Both fans and players in attendance toasted their skipper as they truly enjoyed the day. 2042 was an extra-special season for Sánchez as he piloted the Laredo Hawks to a 59-37 record and a second place spot in the Silver A standings. A record good enough to win the 2042 Manager of the Year Award. |
