SA Presents Batter of Month Trophy to Maxwell Monday, September 1st, 2042 When Woody Maxwell stepped up to the plate in August he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the USSL Single A Batter of the Month award. The young Laredo third baseman posted a .333 batting average with 7 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 18 runs. Maxwell also worked pitchers for 12 walks to post a .423 on-base percentage. This season Maxwell is hitting .278 with 99 hits, 21 home runs, 69 RBIs, scored 53 runs and played in 90 games. |
