SA Presents Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 4th, 2042 A hot-hitting week got Joe Holmes the USSL Single A Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Grim third baseman slammed them for a .500 average, 9 hits in 18 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 5 runs. In the postgame press conference, Holmes shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." Holmes is currently batting .270 with 7 home runs and 32 RBIs. |
