Bethune on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, August 19th, 2041 The Grand Forks Caterpillars received word today that second baseman Rupert Bethune was selected M3L Single A Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. Bethune took full advantage of all 18 plate appearances last week as he hit .500 with 8 hits, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Bethune has hit at a .386 clip and produced 15 runs batted in, 2 home runs and 12 runs. |
