Airmen Xue-qin Chen Down and Out for Year Friday, August 8th, 2042 The season is finished for Xue-qin Chen of the Alameda Airmen. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Airmen left fielder suffered a torn posterior cruciate ligament while running the bases in a recent game against the Kingston Mangos. Team doctors said it would take at least 8 months to heal. Currently Chen is batting .264 with 9 home runs and 35 RBIs. |
