Walker Triumphs in 3A Player of the Week Monday, August 4th, 2042 Jason Walker drew on his youthful energy and pitching skill to win M3L Single A Player of the Week honors last week. The Idaho Falls Chukars pitcher registered 2 wins and no losses, 0.00 ERA and 10 strikeouts in 13 innings to sew up the award. The 21-year-old also held opposing hitters to 8 hits and a .186 batting average. Thus far this season Walker has posted a 4-2 record, started 2 games, struck out 40 batters in 47.2 innings and compiled a 1.70 ERA. |
