Kennesaw-Monroeville Brawl, Keng and Poe Suspended
Saturday, August 2nd, 2042
If there wasn't a history between Ta-hye Keng of Kennesaw and Donovan Poe of Monroeville, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today.
"We're both really competitive," Keng said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it."
This season Keng is batting .311 with no home runs. His totals include 1 RBIs and 8 runs scored.
For the season Poe has made 13 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 1-0 won-lost mark and a 3.81 ERA. In pitching 28.1 innings, he has totaled 37 strikeouts and 12 walks.
