3A Selects Hunter July's Top Starter Friday, August 1st, 2042 In July, Wes Hunter tore through the M3L Single A like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Kennesaw starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 1.26 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 28.2 innings he collected 21 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .190 average. Hunter has made 11 starts, tossed 78 innings, struck out 70 batters and walked 16. His record is 7-3 with a 2.77 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .211 batting average. |
