Greenville Conquers Hollywood In United States Baseball Association Sunday, October 19th, 2042 It was a storybook year for the Greenville 84s as they closed out a 4-1 series win over the Hollywood Shredders to claim the United States Baseball Association Championship. They wrapped it up with a 5-3 victory to cap an incredible season after they brought home their 5th league championship earlier in the year. The 84s manager offered his view of the series. "We had a lot of things going for us," he said, "offense and defense doing it at the right time. That's what it takes to win it all." The Shredders manager commented: "We're disappointed we lost, but we're also very proud of what we did all year. They played better baseball than us and they beat us."
