Closing In: Hollywood Nears R2044 With Dramatic Game Win
The Hollywood Shredders are one game away from a sweep after taking a 3-2, walk-off win over the visiting Boston Patriots at The Hollywood Bowl today. Shredders right-hander Jesús Vidro was named player of the game for a strong outing in which he threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball. Hollywood now holds a - advantage in the best-of- Round 2043.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Hollywood pinch hitter Ramón Rodríguez, facing Jorge Gil, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Shredders the 3-2 win.

Rodríguez described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.

The next game is set to be played Wednesday, October 8th, 2042 at Dunkin Donuts Park in Boston. The scheduled starters for the game are Matthew Fallows for the Hollywood Shredders and Alberto López for the the Boston Patriots.
