Raucous Ducks Park Crowd Propels Ducks to 9-4 Victory; Series Tied at 1

With first baseman Shu-yaan Seema leading the charge, the Long Island Ducks defeated the visiting Ladue Rams, 9-4, in Game 2 of the PL R Championchip today. Seema was 4-4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs at Ducks Park to help Long Island force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.
In the bottom of the fourth, Long Island designated hitter Tom Kelley had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Kelley stroked a 2-run triple to left. It made the score 6-2, Long Island. For the game, he went 2 for 2 with a triple. He drove in 4 runs.
"It's true for every sport, I think, but the playoffs are so short that you've just got to get in and get hot," Long Island manager Luis Ruíz told BNN after the win. "We took care of the first part and now we're just working on the second."
The next game is scheduled for Friday, September 12th, 2042 in Ladue. The scheduled starters for the game are Katsumoto Ine for the Long Island Ducks and Harri Haverfldt for the the Ladue Rams.
