Vibes Rally Past Seahawks to Claim 1-0 Series Lead
The Rocky Mountain Vibes took the first game of the PL A Championship in dramatic fashion today, topping the Myrtle Beach Seahawks in a ninth-inning, walk-off, 8-7 win. Seahawks left-hander Wendel Koudstaal was selected player of the game despite the loss, as he hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice.

Kyle Michaud was the walk-off hero for Rocky Mountain. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Vibes third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Brooks Dempsey.

Game 2 is set to be played tomorrow at Bellevue Field. The scheduled starters for the game are Carlson Foolscrow for Myrtle Beach and Takayuki Shimizu for Rocky Mountain.
