Sioux Falls Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in R1
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas silenced the Milton Dogfish Head today to move within one game of the Round 2. The Red Pandas shut out the Dogfish Head by a final score of 4-0 at The Bamboo Forest. Sioux Falls right-hander Juan Ayala was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he came in in relief and pitched to 17 batters . The win gives the Red Pandas a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 3L AAA Championship.

Mauro Jasso hit a run-scoring triple off Dan Dunn in the bottom of the first, which put the Red Pandas in front, 1-0. Jasso had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.

Ayala called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow in Sioux Falls. The scheduled starters for the game are Javier Guillén for the Milton Dogfish Head and Timoteo Sassetti for the the Sioux Falls Red Pandas.
