Toledo right fielder Lester Threlfall was the key at Dunkin Donuts Park today, being named player of the game as he powered the Stingers to victory in a critical Game of the Third League Championship. The Stingers took the 7-2 win over the Boston Patriots to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

Threlfall had a critical at-bat in the top of the third for Toledo, coming through with a run-scoring double to put Toledo in front, 2-0.

"It's hard to overstate how much this mattered to us, especially in a short series," Toledo manager TJ Reynolds said.
