Knights Hammered by Coco, Fall Further Behind in R1
Charleston Battery left fielder Joey Coco was the difference-maker at Cloverdale Legion Park today, winning player of the game honors as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game of the Round 1. The Battery took the 6-2 win over the Kingston Township Knights to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

It could have been a different outcome for Charleston, had it not been for Tony Manzanares, the 33-year old catcher . Manzanares contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Charleston up, 3-0.

"Every team in baseball loses," Knights manager Rayzor Ray said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."
