Dickinson, White Walkers Sink Elite Again in Game
|
Buffalo catcher Tom Dickinson was the key at Beyond the Wall today, being named player of the game as he powered the White Walkers to victory in a critical Game of the Round 1. The White Walkers took the 8-5 win over the Detroit Elite to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.
Max Bortenschlager had a clutch at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the sixth for the White Walkers. Coming up with the bases loaded and Buffalo trailing 5-4, he hit a 2-run single.
"It was a good win," Buffalo manager Chris Lau told BNN reporters after the game. "I told them I was proud of them. These guys are professional ballplayers, they know how to get motivated without my help."
