Gotaas, Oaks Sink Rainbow Mermaids Again in Game
The Oakland Oaks are one game away from a sweep after a 10-4 win over the visiting Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids at Oakland Coliseum today. Oaks right fielder Conor Gotaas was named player of the game, as he slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Oakland now holds a - advantage in the best-of- Third League Championship.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fifth when Gotaas, who is tied for 5th in the 3L in home runs with 3, hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Oaks into the lead, 4-2.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Gotaas said.
