Westwood Sixshooters starter Raúl Reyes was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 2-1. The 4th-place Sixshooters raised their record to 55-47.

Westwood relied on the bat of Earl McCarty to get the win. The center fielder ripped a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sixshooters ahead, 2-1. For the game, McCarty had 1 double and 1 home run in 3 at-bats.

"It's a mindset," said Reyes. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
