Streaking Screaming Eagles Win Another One
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles picked up a win at Mercer Island Grounds, knocking off the Akron Blimps, 6-3. Starting pitcher Phil Day, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Screaming Eagles, now 66-36, have won 7 in a row.

Marcos Villanueva made an early impact for Mercer Island when he stroked his 6th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which came with two out in the bottom of the third, put the Screaming Eagles on top, 5-0.

Day told a Mercer Island Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
