Pethick Hits 2 home runs in Fighting Imps Win
With center fielder Daryl Pethick leading the charge, the Ithaca Fighting Imps defeated the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 5-4, at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. Pethick was 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Even with the win, the Fighting Imps have a dismal 29-70 record.

Pethick had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-2 fastball from Kwang-sik Kang, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Fighting Imps a 5-2 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for Pethick.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Pethick.
