Blimps Get Close Win Over Ogres
The Akron Blimps thumped the Olympia Ogres, 8-2, at The Ogre Den. León Galiano was a big reason his team got the win. Galiano went 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The 5th-place Blimps improved to 50-48.

The result might have been different for Akron, had it not been for Hun-hyeon Kang, the 21-year old second baseman . Kang stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Akron up, 4-2. For the game, he had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
