Blimps Squelch Sixshooters Offense in Shutout Win
The Westwood Sixshooters got a superb performance from pitcher Jalmari Lostedt, but the Akron Blimps still won the game, 3-0. Lostedt was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 6 innings allowing 3 runs. Gypsyamber D'Souza earned the save, his 21st. The Blimps improve their record to 48-46 with the win over Westwood.

Akron relied on the hitting of Steve Chittick to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put the Blimps on top, 2-0. For the game, Chittick had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
