Multi-HR Day for Daulong as Thunder Hawks Overpower Ogres, 11-3

The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks met little resistance from the Olympia Ogres, beating them 11-3 at The Ogre Den. Francisco Daulong led the way. He hit 2 home runs, while scoring 4 times and driving in 2 for Ft. Polk South. Sixto Bustamante picked up the win with 5.2 innings of work. He allowed 3 earned runs on 5 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 6-5. The 9th-place Ogres have lost 4 consecutive games.
The result might have been different for Ft. Polk South, had it not been for Aubrey Miller. The designated hitter produced a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put the Thunder Hawks ahead, 4-3. For the game, Miller had 1 double and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
