Behind a solid performance from first baseman Dave Hill, the Akron Blimps defeated the Northville Eclipse, 6-3. Hill was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Blimps. Gypsyamber D'Souza notched his 15th save in 16 chances. The Blimps are now 39-42, while the Eclipse fall to 36-45.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Chittick.
