Carson Slugs Thunder Hawks to 12-8 Win
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks and Mercer Island Screaming Eagles lit up the scoreboard at Mercer Island Grounds.

Tim Carson left his imprint on the 12-8 Ft. Polk South win against the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles. Carson, who is tied for 10th in the PAA with a .373 on-base percentage, hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Ft. Polk South reliever Jeremy Bearimy picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Dawson Randolph was saddled with the loss.

In the first inning, Carson had a 2-run home run for Ft. Polk South. It was his 25th home run of the season and put the Thunder Hawks on top, 4-0.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Carson told the Ft. Polk South Observer. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."

Ft. Polk South is now 45-30. Mercer Island is 46-29.
