Fans who came to Imps Park watched the Crescent City Krewe and the Ithaca Fighting Imps fight to the finish.

Crescent City first baseman Norbert Schalk had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 4-3. Reliever Héctor Sanz picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Alberto Cruz took the loss. Pat Martin closed the game out for Crescent City, earning his 3rd save.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Schalk delivered big-time for Crescent City, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Harold Hunter. The game-changing hit put the Krewe on top, 4-3.

"It was a good effort all around," said Schalk.
