Extra-Inning Win by Krewe over Fighting Imps
The Crescent City Krewe eked out a 5-4 win versus the Ithaca Fighting Imps at Imps Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Taine Poutini, who captured player of the game honors. Crescent City reliever Paul Thomas picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-0. Jimmy Whitney was collared with the loss. The Fighting Imps, now 21-49, have lost 8 in a row.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Juan David Fernán came to bat in the top of the 12th. Facing Ithaca pitcher Jimmy Whitney, he hit a full count cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Crescent City on top, 5-4.

"This was a good win," said Poutini.
