Thunder Hawks Shut Out Blimps

Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks starter António Morterero turned in a top-notch performance against the Akron Blimps at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. The result was a win for the Thunder Hawks, 4-0. Morterero, now 6-1, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing no earned runs. Mark Brunswick was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 4 save opportunities.
Jorge Agramunt, the Ft. Polk South right fielder, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 2-0, Thunder Hawks. For the game, Agramunt went 1-3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
