|
Pitcher Carlos Rivas was sensational for the Ogallala Octopi in his team's 4-0 triumph over the Bompton Baby Lakers. Rivas received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Joe Parks earned the save, his 10th. The Octopi go to 30-28, putting them 5th in the Menard's R.
In his 79-pitch effort, Rivas allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 7 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 5.
