Shockers Squelch Beavers Offense in Shutout Win
The Surprise Shockers faced a tough opponent in Northwest Territory pitcher Volmer Aalbers, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Beaver Town by a final score of 6-0. Aalbers went 5 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The Shockers, with just their 6th win so far in 2042, have yet to catch fire.

Manny Inserni put Surprise in front, 3-0, when he took Volmer Aalbers downtown. His 2-run home run came with one out in the top of the fifth. It was his 3rd home run of the season.

Inserni told a Surprise Chronicle reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
