Losing Streak Continues for Biscuits with 5-2 Loss to Crush
The Flint Crush beat the Montgomery Biscuits, 5-2, at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Flint first baseman Corey Joseph earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Flint reliever Carl Wilson picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. George Atwater was saddled with the loss. Montgomery's current losing streak is now 8 games.

Flint used the timely hitting of Aimo Joenlahti to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Crush on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Flint manager Bill Callahan. "It's usually not just one thing."
