Beavers Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
|
Northwest Territory Beavers starter Jong-beom Park pitched a strong game against the Maine Sea Dogs at Beaver Town, leading the Beavers to a 7-2 win. The winner was Northwest Territory reliever Marlon Harris, now 1-0. The loser was Pabiyan Ajiganoff. The Beavers, now 6-2, have been on a roll in the early going.
Northwest Territory took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 2nd, Ming Wang stroked a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Beavers.
"Winning is contagious," said Wang. "We're looking forward to the next game."
