Watford City left-hander Francisco González made an effective start against the Surprise Shockers at Shockers Field, leading his team to a 6-3 win. The win takes Watford City to 5-3.

Manuel Alea had a big 2-run double for the Trash Pandas in the top of the first inning. With Watford City leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from José Pérez and stroked the double to right-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Trash Pandas ahead, 3-0.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," González told the Watford City Gazette.
