The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople got a superb performance from pitcher Ikaia Duncalf, but the Quebec City Baby Blues still won the game, 1-0. Duncalf was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. Quebec City reliever Arlen Mata picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Ikaia Duncalf absorbed the loss. Dave Henderson, credited with the save, is now 3 for 4 in save opportunities.

Ronald Dacanay, not known for his power, had a big at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth. That's when he connected on a slider from Ikaia Duncalf for a solo home run. His 11th home run of the season put Quebec City in front, 1-0.
