Bethlehem Angel Kitties starter Yang-cheng Sang was in fine form against the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople at Kittie Park, leading his team to a 4-2 win. In 7 innings, Sang surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. Lando de Ruijter converted his 1st save in 1 tries.

The Snowpeople had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Angel Kitties going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 19-year old designated hitter Wyatt Shepherd came to the plate. Shepherd hit a 2-run double on a 1-1 splitter from Ellesmere Island hurler Edgardo Moncivas. It was Shepherd's 18th double of the year.

"Enjoyed this one," Sang told the Bethlehem Chronicle. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The Angel Kitties bumped their record to 36-35 with this latest triumph.
