Baby Blues Come Back Late, Nip Angel Kitties

The Quebec City Baby Blues downed the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, 4-3, at Dylan Park. The Baby Blues were led by Luc Leroux, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-4 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. Quebec City reliever Hahn Hartwig picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Shao-qi Yeh was saddled with the loss. William Pettersen notched his 10th save in 18 chances.
Chet Davis hit a run-scoring double off Shao-qi Yeh in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Baby Blues in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Davis had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.
Bethlehem manager Jeff Rutherford said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
The Baby Blues bumped their record to 38-27 with this latest triumph.
