Clive Edney did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople from losing, 4-3, to the Montgomery Biscuits at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Edney went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Montgomery has now won 3 in a row.
António Hernández had a big run-scoring single for the Biscuits in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Montgomery leading 3-1 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from Ki-seop Ch'oe and stroked the single to left. It was his 4th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Biscuits ahead, 4-1.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Montgomery manager António Pineda.
