Baby Blues Get Road Win, 7-3
|
Bethlehem got a terrific performance from pitcher Enreecko Rodriguez, but it wasn't enough to beat the Quebec City Baby Blues. Quebec City won the Kittie Park contest, 7-3. Rodriguez was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He came in in relief and pitched to 16 batters . Bethlehem's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
Quebec City used the timely hitting of Gregory Jones to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Baby Blues ahead, 6-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was an important one.
"I like our moxie," said Baby Blues manager Kyle Myers.
