The Warheads had to overcome a fine performance from Bethlehem pitcher Ángel Díaz to grab a 4-2 win at Kittie Park. Díaz allowed 2 earned runs over 7 innings. Álex Alagna, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save. Amarillo bumps their record to 20-15 with the win.

Amarillo used the timely hitting of Gerald Riley to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Warheads on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Riley said.
