The Montgomery Biscuits racked up a win at The Igloo, bumping off the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 4-2. Bernard Miller, who started for Montgomery, pitched effectively for his team. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Stu Sutherland. Montgomery currently is in third place in the Silver R at 19-15.

Montgomery relied on the hitting of Juan Martínez to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Biscuits on top, 2-0. For the game, Martínez had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
