Crush Get One-Run Win at Montgomery
Flint and Montgomery duked it out at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium and the Crush came out victorious.

Juan Martínez had a good game, but he could not keep the Montgomery Biscuits from falling, 7-6, to the Flint Crush at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. The Montgomery right fielder was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once in the loss. Todd Montgomery earned the save for Flint, his 5th of the year.

Flint took advantage of an error in the top of the fourth inning. The game was tied, 0-0, when Roy Smith hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Flint in front, 2-0.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Smith said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The Crush now have a mark of 12-12.
