Interns Come Back Late to Clip Warheads
Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Valerio Salviati, the Capital Hill Interns defeated the Amarillo Warheads, 11-7. Salviati was 3 for 6 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Interns. The second-place Interns have won 9 straight.

Salviati had a game-changing triple in the top of the ninth. On a 2-0 fastball from Rafael Navarro, he banged a bases-clearing triple to right-center, giving the Interns a 10-7 lead. It was the 1st triple of the year for Salviati.

"The clubhouse vibe is great," said Capital Hill manager Arthur Franklin.
