The Valley View Cougars wiggled past the Montgomery Biscuits, 4-3, at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Valley View pitcher John Robertson earned player of the game honors. Tyrone Tolbert recorded the save for Valley View, his 1st of the season. The Biscuits, now 11-6, continue their sluggish start.

Gabe Joicey hit a run-scoring triple off Qu-bing Li in the top of the tenth, which put the Cougars in front, 4-3. In addition to the triple, Joicey had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
