Loss to Angel Kitties Extends Valley View Losing Streak
Spirited fans at Hillandale Grounds greeted the Valley View Cougars for their clash with the Bethlehem Angel Kitties.

The Bethlehem Angel Kitties powered past the Valley View Cougars, 9-5, at Hillandale Grounds. Robbie McClellan was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times, to lead the charge. Jim Bennett earned the win for Bethlehem. He lasted 5 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 8 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 1-0.

The result might have been different for Bethlehem, had it not been for Christian L'Écuyer. The first baseman produced a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Angel Kitties ahead, 1-0. For the game, L'Écuyer had 2 doubles and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said McClellan.
