Russ T. Nayle never let the Interns get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his changeup, to pitch the Biscuits to a 3-1 win. With the win, Montgomery improves its record to 3-3.

It could have been a different outcome for Montgomery, had it not been for Bob Clark, the 21-year old shortstop . Clark contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the second inning to put Montgomery up, 2-0.

In postgame comments, Clark told the Montgomery Gazette: "Do people still doubt I give 100 percent?"
