Ducks Park was the site for USPL Rookie action featuring the Long Island Ducks and Twinsburg Tigers.

Sherwin Tacod helped his team muscle past the Long Island Ducks, 12-1. In the game, the Twinsburg second baseman was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Cédric Barbot earned the win to go to 6-6. He allowed no earned runs on 1 hits, with no walks and 4 strikeouts.

Twinsburg used the clutch hitting of Ray Winters to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to give the Tigers the lead, 2-0. For the game, Winters had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Morton Kelly said.

With the win over Long Island, the Tigers improved to 40-50.
