|
Arturo Beltrán left his imprint on the 6-4 Redwood win against the Hicksville Hounds. Beltrán, who is tied for 10th in the PR in doubles with 20, went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Rhinos, now 43-34, have won 5 in a row.
Beltrán came through with some timely hitting for Redwood. With the score 4-2 in the top of the fourth and two down, Beltrán hit a 2-2 fastball for a 2-run single. His 54th hit of the season made it 6-2, Redwood.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Beltrán. "And not try to do too much."
