Loss to Ducks Extends Hicksville Losing Streak
The Long Island Ducks knocked off the Hicksville Hounds, 7-3, at Hound Pound. Edgardo Becerra, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Long Island won. The catcher went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The slumping Hounds have dropped 6 in a row.

It could have been a different outcome for Long Island, had it not been for Danny Stone, the 20-year old second baseman . Stone contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put Long Island up, 2-0.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Stone said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
